September 2008 was a landmark in Peter's career. It was just 50 years since he started work as a photographer. He has twice won the Agfa Trophy for Best Licentiate Wedding Photograph in the North West; he has also twice received Fuji awards and received commendation in the British Press Pictures of the Year competition. Peter has now retired.

years." "I can now spend more time working with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, particularly the Youth section (despite my age !). In England and Wales there are over 2,500 young people doing great charity work in their communities. My annual treat is to join them for Camp Vincent."
