youngsters from throughout the country converge on Ampleforth
in the middle of July for the annual Camp Vincent run by the Youth Committee of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Camp Vincent is the
chance for Youth SVP Groups from all over the country to get away
together for 4 days in the summer, to relax and make lots of new
friends. There is a packed programme of activities, themes and social
time -led by the young Youth SVP Field Workers who ensure that there
is never a dull moment. In the mornings there are small group workshops, discussions and opportunities for spiritual reflection particularly upon the work done by Youth SVP volunteers. In the afternoon full use is made of the activities available at the College: swimming, tennis, badminton, football.
