| A
proposal on Table Mountain in Capetown, South Africa, led to the altar
at St. Mary's Church in Leyland, Lancashire.

Mountain
Swellendam
It was three years ago that friends of Kevin Henry came from South Africa to visit
his brother, Anthony, in Leyland among whom was
Jackie Frick from Swellendam.
A couple of years later, Jackie went to London for a break and contacted Anthony
again.
Last February Anthony went out to South Africa to visit his
daughter Maria with her husband Craig Bruce and their children Airen
& Raven at Ellisras. Anthony drove 1,000 miles to Swellendam and invited
Jackie to join him on a trip up Table Mountain and there at the top he
proposed to her.

| There was a
real international feel to the wedding, for as well as Anthony's
daughter from South Africa, his son Brendan jetted in
from Vancouver in Canada to act as Best Man. Joining Brendan on the
flight was his wife Joelle and baby Leilani.
Also from South Africa was Jackie's
son Pieter, who gave the bride away, and her daughter Nicolette
who took on the role of bridesmaid.
Not to be outdone by all these
'foreigners', Anthony's other daughter Ursula arrived from 'over the
water' in Heswall on the Wirral.

| After the
wedding at St. Mary's, guests refreshed themselves in the Priory Club
while Peter Reed took photographs in the grounds of the Presbytery
before everyone adjourned to Anthony's house in Leyland for a reception. |
