Carolyn
arrived at Church in a silver Bentley supplied by Carriages of
Broughton.
Wearing a Maggie Sottero's "Amber" ivory dress with a full
train and crystal bodice supplied by Bridal
Box of Leyland,
Carolyn was accompanied by Emma Robinson and Sarah Clare. It was with
Emma that Carolyn travelled the world in 1997-98. Emma now lives in
Sydney Australia but flew over for the wedding.
Sarah and Carolyn have been friends since they were 13 years-old. With
Emma on the other side of the world it fell to Sarah to organise a
couple of hen nights - one wild night in Preston and one luxurious
week-end in Chester.
The bridal party was completed with 4-year-old Francesca Johnson as
flower girl and 4-year-old Jack McFarlane, proudly sporting his Rangers
tartan kilt, as page boy.
Jack had better be careful - Francesca was heard to say she was going
to marry the page boy!!

The
couple's beautiful wedding stationery was designed by themselves and
printed by family friend Kev Johnson of Sign Design.
During the service soloist Karen Robinson sang 3 hymns.
The wedding was videoed by
Chris Dell of ABC Video. |

| After the
ceremony, the 90 guests headed to Barton
Grange Hotel to be greeted by banqueting manager Don Morgan
for the Reception, during which Carey and Carolyn cut their beautiful
modern cake crafted by Liz Norris of Doyliz
of Kirkham
Photographer Peter Reed took
the wedding party on the grounds to capture the beautiful memories of
the day.
Harpist Nia Morgan entertained the
guests with her relaxing music during the wedding breakfast.
The evening party was set in full swing by Fleetwood based band Wyte
Lyzes who performed covers of popular hits.
(Carey, Carolyn and Carolyn's father all went for dancing lessons to
Dancers in Preston prior to the wedding).
