When that big yellow coach hoves into view the
adrenalin starts. Ampleforth here we come. There's forty on the coach plus half-a-dozen leaders. Arrival at Ampleforth and it
is realised that all that adrenalin will be needed: |

Having checked in, there's an intro from Pablo
with a few do's and don'ts - mainly DO JOIN IN.
Then it's off to dinner followed by the
"getting to know you" session of icebreakers with |

Each evening will finish with a silent
reflection based on the theme of the Camp:
"SAINTS ALIVE"

Workgroups on each morning highlight the
challenges faced by Young Vincentians:
Physical, Social, Rational, and Emotional,
tugging at emotions challenge to avoid the heat
working it all out
providing support
has the egg broken? |

not a usual combination.

Plenty of afternoon activities

| And then The Mass Not the usual passive Mass with the congregation just watching but with all 230 Young Vincentians and leaders taking part with singing and role-play throughout.
And the big yellow coaches appear and it's all over for another year. Tears are shed as new found friends have to part |
