Over 200 "SUPERHEROES" descended on Ampleforth
for the annual CAMP VINCENT organised by the youth section of the ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY. Aged between 13 & 18, these are among the best of Britain's youngsters of today. It is they who have a real positive effect on their local communities throughout the country. To the housebound, elderly, handicapped, and underpriviliged in society, they are Superheroes for the help they provide |

The first evening was spent breaking the ice
as and getting to know one another.

![]() Each morning workshops were held to demonstrate how they use their initiative or offer help to fellow Vincentians in their work with the disadvantaged.
