Over 200 "SUPERHEROES" descended on Ampleforth
for the annual CAMP VINCENT organised by the youth section of the ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY. Aged between 13 & 18, these are among the best of Britain's youngsters of today. It is they who have a real positive effect on their local communities throughout the country. To the housebound, elderly, handicapped, and underpriviliged in society, they are Superheroes for the help they provide |

The first evening was spent breaking the ice
as and getting to know one another.

 Each morning workshops were held to demonstrate how they use their initiative or offer help to fellow Vincentians in their work with the disadvantaged.

Afternoons were spent taking advantage of the
sports facilities at the College
|
